What News? That News –>

Shalom all,
I do pray that you all are doing well with all this rain and flooding.
There has been some major storms across the USA as you all have probably heard. Joplin, MO, about 4 hrs. away from us, was hit with an especially major tornado, killing over 100 people. There has been major damage also in Sedalia and Montgomery County. Praise Yahweh, we were not hit, though we were under a tornado warning for about an hour, hiding out in our basement bathroom listening to the radio. Now, there is some concern about flooding in areas.
Here are some pics from Joplin, MO:
Power outages are everywhere, and many people are trying to sustain themselves on what is left of their supplies. Donations are coming in from every direction, and Yahweh willing, they will be able to pull themselves together and start over, though it definitely won’t be easy. Please pray for all the victims, because we can help them get off the ground, find food and shelter, and start over again, but only Yahweh can strengthen their hearts and bodies and protect them from any danger. And, for the people who don’t believe in Messiah, perhaps this might be a wake-up call, to them and to people everywhere, that they HAVE to start turning toward the Heavenly Father, or there is little hope for them in the 1st Resurrection.

Speaking of Messiah, did anyone ever read that verse that he spoke about the end times? Yeah, that one where he is talking to his disciples  and say NO ONE KNOWS!!! Oh, yeah, it’s right here:

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,

Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Right, not the rapture, but the day of the Messiah coming. Apparently Harold Camping
missed that little
part in there about NO ONE KNOWING the day of his coming.
Seriously, and many people believed him. H
ow ridiculous is that?
Does no one read the Bible, and then they make all these predictions that never

come true? Sigh……. What a great disappointment it will be when October 21st
comes and no one disappears:}
I mean, not to make light of the Scriptures,
but if this was the Tribulation, what was I scared of?
Oh right, just 5 more months of endless torture will come,
then everything will end and Judgement Day will
be here.

On a different note, many of you reading this might have heard what President Obama said concerning Israel:
(Paraphrasing…) Israel must return to it’s 1967 borders, and mutual swaps must be made so that Palestine can have it’s own state. What? Borders they cannot defend because the Palestines need a state, even though
the Palestines are taking over entire countries with their faith. What selfish little brats…. We all know
Palestine has enough land already, and Israel needs land of it’s own. But of course, we have to cater to
the Muslims, who wish death to all the infidels who do not believe as they do. Oh, what was that?
The Egyptians are crying, “Death to Israel, death to the Jews.” And we are giving them MORE, so they can do
MORE damage. How sad…. But I guess it is going to come about, so that the glory of Yahweh and of his Son
Yahshua can be shown to these people.

The news is kinda depressing these days 😦

Shalom for Israel,
Micaela Rae

Shavuot/Things we CAN be thankful for!

Posted on

This last week has been a very interesting one. The weather has finally mostly cleared up, and the Feast of
Unleavened Bread 2011 has ended. Now starts the 50-day count to Pentecost, or Shavuot.
Feast of first fruits, the wave sheaf offering, feast
of weeks; this is an interesting feast to say the least. Unlike the festivals
of Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Atonement, there is a certain thankfulness,
as we praise and thank Yahweh for all he has given to us.  Seeing as we have started a garden this year,
it holds a little more significance to us as we might possibly
have some of our planting up by then.
What we can thank Yahweh for? Answer: The physical, spiritual, and emotional fruits of
the harvest. We can thank him for many things, including:

  • For giving us a book of Laws by
which he wants us to dictate our lives
  • For sending his Son to cover our
  • For giving us the support of family,
    friends, and elders
  • For our health, physically and
  • For us being able to provide for our
families, even when the economy is deteriorating
  • For technology, being able to
connect with more people over the course of a lifetime
  • For music
  • For the little things
in life, the innocence of a child, the wise words of a friend or elder, the
friendship of a spouse or sibling, the love of Yahweh’s people and family,
every day, through the bad and the good

Praise Yahweh for everything he has given us, our very breath and life, and
each day we have to use what he has given us. Let’s all remember why we are
here, to honor our Heavenly Father and his Son, and give them all the glory.
Amen and Shalom!P.S. What do you all think of my new theme? Snazzy, isn’t it.

P.P.S Remember; comment below. Perhaps you have something else that we can be thankful
